Driving

The following rules apply in Slovenia and Croatia:

• Drive on the right!


• Children must be at least 12 years of age to sit in the front seat.


• In Slovenia, all moving vehicles must use headlights, day and night.


• In Croatia, only motorcyclists need to use headlights at all times.


• The legal blood alchohol level is lower than in the UK (0.50 g/kg)

Some major motorways are 'toll-roads', so make sure you have some local currency change with you.
