Pula Film Festival (July)

For film buffs looking for something a bit different, how about catching a few movies in a roman arena?

The Pula Film Festival, founded in 1954, is now hosted in the Arena. A giant projection screen is erected to temporarily create one of the largest movie theatres in the world (between 5000 and 8000 seats). The festivals international program contains offerings straight from Cannes and Berlin.
